<h6>Défis du client</h6> <p>Une grande centrale électrique à cycle combiné de 800 MW sur la côte ouest des États-Unis souffre depuis 10 ans de corrosion accélérée par le débit (FAC) dans les sections d’évaporateur basse pression de ses générateurs de vapeur à récupération de chaleur (HRSG). La direction de l’entreprise a récemment commencé à rechercher une nouvelle approche pour contrôler la corrosion et a contacté Solenis.</p> <h6>Solution recommandée :</h6> <p>Solenis a recommandé l’essai en usine de l’inhibiteur de corrosion Amercor CF6725, un produit polyamine qui fournit un niveau élevé de protection contre la corrosion dans les chaudières sans sacrifier le transfert de chaleur. Pour recueillir des données de référence sur le fer dans l’eau de la chaudière, un échantillonneur composite de produit Sentry Corrosion a été utilisé, car les échantillons prélevés normalement ne fournissent pas de données représentatives. Un échantillonneur intégré utilise des filtres pour collecter un échantillon continu au fil du temps et la quantité de produits de corrosion capturés par les filtres peut être mesurée avec précision à des niveaux très faibles en ppb.</p> <h6>Résultats obtenus</h6> <p style="text-align: left;">Les données présentées dans le tableau ci-dessous sont remarquables, car les valeurs d’échantillonnage typiques se situent dans la plage de faibles ppb, tandis que les valeurs de fer se situent en réalité dans la plage de ppt.
