A unique opportunity to begin your career with a global leader in innovative sustainability solutions for water-intensive industries.
Solenis, a leading global producer of specialty chemicals for water-intensive industries, is excited to introduce its Apprenticeship and Trainee Program. This program is designed to equip aspiring professionals with hands-on experience, industry knowledge, and technical skills critical for success in the markets we serve. Participants will receive comprehensive training, mentorship from seasoned experts, and the opportunity to work on real-world projects, ensuring they gain practical insights and a strong foundation for their future careers. Whether you are just starting your journey or looking to deepen your expertise, the Solenis Apprenticeship and Trainee Program is your gateway to a rewarding career.
Our apprenticeship program combines on-the-job training and study to provide an experience you won’t get in the classroom. This unique opportunity is available exclusively through our Bradford site, one of the largest and most productive single-site chemical facilities in the United Kingdom.
We pair each apprentice with a Solenis mentor — an experienced, on-site team member with a wealth of skills and expertise. Our apprentices gain invaluable knowledge working with mentors offering guidance and feedback based on decades of hands-on industry experience.
In addition to practical experience, apprentices earn nationally recognized qualifications through college and development sessions.
Many apprentices are offered permanent positions upon successful program completion. Some will be invited to continue career development with learning opportunities for higher degree-level qualifications.
Generally, each year, we open apprenticeship opportunities based on the site’s needs. Most openings occur in our manufacturing operations, including engineering. Interested applicants should hold 5 GCSEs grade 4 (C) or above and have an interest in chemistry, manufacturing or engineering.
We also occasionally offer apprenticeship openings in warehouse, supply chain and business support.
Along with competitive pay, bonus opportunities and private healthcare, our program offers:
At Solenis Technologies Germany GmbH, we are shaping the future of water and chemical solutions. At our Krefeld and Mönchengladbach sites, we operate state-of-the-art laboratories for research and application technology and manufacture an extensive portfolio of products. These include flocculants, defoamers, anti-scaling agents, refining aids, and solutions for drinking water treatment.
Our values are the foundation of our success:
Fairness · Sustainability · Inclusion · Growth · Empowerment
Our apprenticeship program blends practical, on-the-job training with lessons at vocational school and additional workplace instruction.
Each apprentice is paired with a dedicated Solenis mentor — an experienced team member who brings a wealth of skills and industry expertise. Working alongside their mentors, apprentices receive invaluable guidance and constructive feedback shaped by decades of hands-on experience.
Final examinations are conducted by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
Upon successful completion, many apprentices are offered permanent positions, while others may be invited to continue their career journey through advanced learning opportunities and higher degree-level qualifications.
We’re excited to welcome the next generation of talent. Could that be you?
