Premier event for geothermal decision makers

This event brings together investors and financiers, license holders, developers, operators, suppliers, geoscientists, academics and authorities. The event, featuring workshops, a trade show and a congress, will discuss geothermal projects worldwide, impact funding, economy of scale and cost reduction potentials. It will also cover differentiating technologies, geothermal potential of the upstream energy field and explore prospects for the development of heat and electricity producing plants.
At this event, Solenis' Emre Karataş, Sales Manager, Industrial Solutions, will present a paper entitled "Online Geothermal Well Stimulation and Cleaning". In this session, delegates will learn about the method developed and successfully applied by Solenis and Bestepeler Energy partnership to chemically clean scale formation in production wells including the specific cleaning protocol that was applied to remove calcite, silica and stibnite. This method has been successful in restoring dead or decreased capacity reinjection wells to 100% productivity. There are also indications that the method could be a stimulation technique that dissolves mineral formation rather than just scale.
