At this event, Solenis' Michael Wang Ph. D. Senior Applications Project Manager, Pulp, will present a paper entitled 'Understanding Chemi-washer Washing Operation to Enhance Efficiency and Reduce Cost'. In this session, delegates will learn about the key differences in mat formation and washing modes compared to vacuum drum washers and how they influence washer performance. The implications of the key process parameters are also discussed. General guidelines are provided for proper set up and control of a Chemi-washer. Many of the operational issues that frustrate operators of Chemi-washers can be alleviated by understanding the unique needs of this design and establishing appropriate operating targets to optimize performance.
