Understanding and Controlling Biofilm in the Food and Beverage Industry

Biofilms pose a persistent challenge in the food and beverage industry. They can easily be formed, can be difficult to remove and cause a variety of problems ranging from equipment failures and product spoilage to harboring dangerous pathogenic bacteria such as Listeria.
