WILMINGTON, Del. (USA) – Solenis, a global leader in water and hygiene solutions, has opened a new Global Research Center near its headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware.
Located in the Chestnut Run Innovation and Science Park (CRISP) the 100,000-square-foot facility features advanced laboratories, collaborative workspaces, and pilot-scale testing capabilities to accelerate product development and customer support for sustainability-focused products and technologies.
It will serve as the flagship hub in Solenis’ global R&D network of more than 500 scientists, engineers, and technical experts, including over 160 in Wilmington focused on water treatment and pulp and paper manufacturing.
The new center adds 20,000 more square feet of laboratory space than Solenis’ previous R&D location. The grand opening included a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by company leadership, Delaware Gov. Matt Meyer, and other local officials and community partners. The special event featured guided tours and demonstrations of ongoing research projects.
