Innovative chemistries, advanced monitoring and control systems, and expert support for your water treatment challenges.
We manufacture a complete line of sand filter options that trap and filter suspended solids and contaminants down to 5 micron for cooling applications. Each of our systems is preassembled, pretested, and preprogrammed ready for installation. Let one of our trained representatives inspect your system to determine which filter will best meet your needs.
Suspended solids are found in cooling tower systems for a variety of reasons including particulates scrubbed from the air, corrosion, etc. Filtering a side stream of cooling tower water can be an effective control measure. Side stream filters are designed to trap suspended solids through a granular media bed. The differential pressure will increase as more contaminants are trapped. Once this pressure is met, or at a preset time, the media will backwash and flush the contaminants to drain.
Sump sweepers filters are designed to remove suspended solids from water systems using a permanent media and sweeper jets. As contaminants are collected in the media, the differential pressure will increase triggering the system to backwash and remove the contaminants from the media.
Sweeper jet nozzles are designed to spray water in a sweeping pattern in the tower basin towards the filter inlet suction intake. Sweeper jets are a cost-effective method for preventing buildup of dirt, chip scale, and other contaminants in cooling tower basins, sumps, and machinery reservoirs.
Our commitment extends beyond treating water. At Solenis, we are dedicated to transforming sustainability into action. Our tailored 360° Get Clean, Keep Clean™ Approach, will help your water treatment systems operate at peak efficiency with minimal downtime and maximum reliability while driving down the impact on the environment and your operational costs.
