Twice a year, women in the Kwinana, Australia, area learn about career paths in the male-dominated manufacturing sector. Representatives of our plant participate in the Women’s Networking Forum, sharing their experiences and knowledge.
COMMUNITY CARE
In Europe and the U.S., computers quite good for educational use, but not for business applications, are cleaned up and donated to schools with predominately minority students.
SUPPORT FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS
The Water Project, our flagship charity, works with communities in Sub-Saharan Africa to create sanitary water resources and hygiene facilities. Carrying water for cooking and cleaning frequently is a female responsibility.

Closed for two years due to the pandemic, the Solenis Science Lab for Kids in Bradford, UK, reopened to an eager and enthusiastic response. Employees teach students basic science and explain what we manufacture in their hometown.
COMMUNITY CARE
Employees around the world joined to collect food, clothing, toys, hygiene products and cash to help needy individuals in their communities. At one shelter, employees spent time simply playing with children and giving them attention.
SUPPORT FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS
Equity, at our site in Araraquara, São Paulo, Brazil, provided free training to women and members of the LGBTQIA+ community regarding federal regulation NR11 – Transportation, Movement, Storage and Handling of Materials. This enhances career opportunities and Solenis' trajectory to become more diverse and equal.
COMMUNITY CARE
Employees at our plant in Busnago, Italy, joined the company in contributing to the purchase of a van for transportation of disabled residents in the city. It was the second time a van was donated to the “Free to Be, Free to Move” program.
ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
Birds at our site in Somercotes, UK, and elsewhere in town have new homes. Our plant provided materials and an employee is a long-time Cub Scout leader.
EDUCATION
When students at nearby elementary schools returned to class, there 5,000 new pencils waiting, donated by our employees in Charleston, Tennessee, U.S.
ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
Employees conducted a friendly competition to help improve our communities. Teams, individuals and families took time to collect trash in waterways, then dispose of it properly.
