Our unwavering focus on safety and talent helps us provide complete water treatment and process solutions for consumer and industrial markets.
EDUCATION
Middle-school students now know there is science behind manufacturing. Employees from our plant in South Charleston, West Virginia, USA, came to Explore: The New Manufacturing Academy to discuss how our pool and spa chemicals are made.
ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
Members of our team in Wommelgem, Belgium, took advantage of a month of free e-bikes to learn about car-free commutes. They combined for more than 1,000 km of travel to help solve traffic problems around Antwerp.
COMMUNITY CARE
A blood donation event at our office in Hyderabad, India, provided a positive and tangible impact on the community. Blood donors help people of all ages from all backgrounds; many of our sites host collections.
SUPPORT FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS
The Water Project, our flagship charity, works to provide sanitary water, facilities and hygiene education in Sub-Saharan Africa. Fetching water for cooking and cleaning is frequently a female responsibility. We sponsored two projects in 2023.
EDUCATION
We have donated laptops worldwide to charitable groups and under-served schools. The machines are great for educational and other uses, but out of date for business. These are a few of the laptops cleaned up and delivered by our team in Uruguay.
ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
The community of Somercotes, UK, is fortunate to be near waterways and also fortunate to have our team helping keep them clean year after year. Two pickup events in 2023 filled six large bags with rubbish.
COMMUNITY CARE
Winter in Sweden can be especially difficult for the homeless. In Helsingborg, our team collected clothes, shoes, blankets, sleeping bags and more for the non-profit Värmestugan, which means “the warming house.” Many of our locations worldwide do the same.
SUPPORT FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS
On International Women’s Day, a group from our office in São Paulo, Brazil, took time to visit the Alexandre von Humboldt Public School and share with teenagers the stories of their success – including the importance of trying again after you fail.
EDUCATION
Since opening in 2010, the Science Lab for Kids in Bradford, England, has welcomed more than 7,000 students and 800 teachers, even after missing two years due to the pandemic. Our volunteers have taken advantage of more than 1,300 opportunities to teach lessons on basic science and what we manufacture in the kids’ hometown.
COMMUNITY CARE
Employees at our plant in Busnago, Italy, joined the company in contributing to the purchase of a van for transportation of disabled residents in the city. It was the second time a van was donated to the “Free to Be, Free to Move” program.
